Community Outreach & Lectures
Recognizing the importance of reaching out to the community, the Boca Raton Regional Hospital Board of Trustees launched the Community Outreach Program in July 1998. Supported financially by the Boca Raton Regional Hospital Foundation, the programs, which are free of charge, continue to be a strong influence in the community today. Community Outreach Services provides educational and wellness programs which fill local unmet needs. These programs give Boca Raton Regional Hospital a significant way to become a collaborative partner as well as hospital / community liaison to build a strong, healthy and productive community.
Community Outreach Services, which is currently part of the Physician and Community Outreach Services Department is proudly comprised of the following elements (to name a few): The Mobile Health Van, Community Outreach Events and Sponsorships, as well as monthly educational programs and screenings at the Lynn Cancer Institute.
